Joan R. Burkey

Joan R. Burkey, 83, of Eustis, passed away Friday, July 15, 2016. Born in Wrexham, North Wales, she moved to the United States in 1955, and to Eustis in 1991 from Charlevoix, Michigan. Joan served in the Royal Air Force in Wales. She retired as the Hallmark Card Lady working at several local Walgreens stores. She is survived by her Daughters, Jennifer J. Roberts of Leesburg, FL and Laurie Hughes of Charlevoix, MI; Son, Greg Burkey of Plantation, FL; Sisters, Beryl Jones of Padburg, Australia and Shirley Ryan of Penycae, Wales; Brother, James Robinson of London, England; 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
