Jean Zulcosky of Mount Dora, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 11, 2016. Born in Minden City, Michigan, Jean grew up on the family farm and attended school in Parisville and Ubly, Michigan. After graduation, she moved to the Detroit area where she met her future husband, Robert, whom she married in October 1959. In 1984, Jean and her family moved to Florida. She always considered Michigan her first home and loved visiting often. Jean was employed in the banking industry in both Michigan and Florida. After Robert passed away in 2004, Jean moved to Mount Dora to be closer to her daughter. Jean spent most summers in Michigan staying with family. She enjoyed golfing and playing euchre. She loved Polka music and being with family and friends. She was always smiling. Jean is survived by her son, Robert Zulcosky, Jr. and wife, Julie, of Sanford, Florida and daughter Cheryl Kirst and husband, Dennis, of Eustis, Florida. She is also survived by her grandsons Cameron, Matthew and Jacob, whom she adored and loved. Jean cherished and spoke often of the memories of time spent with her family. We know that Jean loved and held a special place in her heart for each and every one of you. Jean is reunited in heaven with parents, Raymond and Selma Danielski; husband, Robert; son, Mark; granddaughter, Chloe; brother, David; sister in law, Betty and niece, Kim.
