James Dale Michels

James Dale Michels, 71, of Leesburg, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014. Born in Elgin, Illinois, he moved to Leesburg in 2001 from Safety Harbor, Florida. He owned & operated his own printing & publishing company. Jim was very active with St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis, serving as a reader at Mass, being a member of St. Vincent de Paul & the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of S.C.O.R.E. (Service Corps Of Retired Executives) Jim is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna N. Michels, Leesburg, FL; son, Rick (Bonnie) Michels, Lakeland, FL; daughter, Kathy Ronco, Palm Harbor, FL; brother, Tom Michels, Rockford, IL; sister, Ruthann Sorensen, Williams Bay, WI; 6 grandchildren. The Funeral Mass will be held celebrated at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church, Eustis on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM.
