James "Jim" Edward Evans, 54, of Sorrento, FL, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018. Born in Pineville, Kentucky, he moved to Sorrento in 2011 from Cincinnati, OH. James enjoyed gardening, fishing, but most of all he loved his grandchildren. He is survived by his Wife, Debra Sue Evans of Sorrento, FL, Son, Joshua James (Cassie) Evans of Cincinnati, OH; Daughter, Julie Evans of Cincinnati, OH, Step-Son, John (Kindra) Abner of Sorrento, FL; Brothers, Darryl Jones of Michigan City, IN, Marvin Miller and Michael Miller both of Cincinnati, OH; Sister, Theresa Evans Schwanke of Michigan City, IN; Grandchildren, Jeremy Evans, Reid Evans, Kemper Evans, Isabella Abner and Gabriella Abner. The family will receive friends at the Hodapp Funeral Home, Carthage Chapel, Cincinnati on Saturday April 7th from Noon till 1:00 pm. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM.
