Grant S. Knight

Grant S. Knight, 82, of Eustis, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017. Born in Franklin, North Carolina, he moved to Eustis in 1951 from Franklin, North Carolina. Grant loved to fix things and work with his hands. He loved his job with Florida Power, Progress Energy, Duke Energy from 1958-1995. Grant was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Eustis and served his country in the Florida National Guard. He loved the North Carolina Mountains and spending time with his family. Grant is survived by his wife, Janell Knight, Eustis, FL; daughter, Karen K. Barber, Eustis, FL; sister, Ora Mae Isgett, Eustis, FL; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 2 sons, Billy Ray Knight and Bobby Joe Knight; brother, Wayne Paul Knight. Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
