George Raymond Arneke

George Raymond Arneke, 88, of Mount Dora, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015. Born in Binghamton, New York, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Elks Lodge, Errol Estates & Baytree Country Clubs. George served in the US Navy during World War II. After working for IBM for over 40 years, he retired to Florida in 1985 and later lived at the Waterman Communities. He is survived by his wife, Patricia J. Arneke, Mount Dora, FL; son, David (Betty Work) Arneke, Greensboro, NC; 2 daughters, Gail (Dale Villeponteaux) Arneke, Rocky Mount, NC, Laurie Peterson, Tavares, FL; 2 grandchildren, Lindsey Peterson & Dane Peterson. A memorial service will be held at the Waterman Village Chapel, Mount Dora, on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 2:00PM. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Cremation Garden.
