Gary Albert Passmore

Gary Albert Passmore, 82, of Mount Dora, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017. Born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, he moved to Eustis in 1976 from Seoul, South Korea. As a mechanical engineer he worked as a project manager and lead engineer for government projects for the US Army and Asian countries for 12 years. He retired to be a stay at home Dad until his daughters graduated school. Gary returned to work as a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service in Mt Dora for 17 years and was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, member of the League of American Wheelman and formerly was very active with the Eustis High School Band Boosters. Gary served his country in the US Army. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Tuk Yun Passmore, Mount Dora, FL; 2 daughters, Victoria (Rusty) Passmore Rivers, Newnan, GA, Angela Passmore, Orlando, FL, 2 grandchildren, Tori & Jordan Rivers. Korean memorial services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 5:00 PM with Honor Guard presentation at 6:00 PM and visitation from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
