Eileen Agnes Hollan

Eileen Agnes (Swing) Hollan, 91, of Eustis, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014.

She was the daughter of Cleo & Agnes McNew Swing. Born in Hamilton County, Indiana on Feb 23, 1923. She graduated in April 1941 from Mt Summit High School and married Erville Hollan that same year in the Spring Christian Church, Springport, Indiana. Following Erville's tour of duty in WWII they settled in New Castle, Indiana where she was employed by Indiana Bell Telephone Company.

In 1953 they moved to Perry, Georgia where they farmed and worked for the USAF at Robins AFB. Retiring in 1969, moving to Lake County, Florida. She resided at Lake Ridge Independant Living at the time of her death.

Eileen wasa a member of the O.E.S. of Perry, GA Waterman Hospital Axillary and a Hospice Volunteer.

Preceded in death by husband, Erville Hollan, her parents, a sister Mary E. Hedrick, brother Joe Swing and sister-in-law- Anna Mae Matthews of Tampa, FL.

Survived by brother-in-law James Hollan (Myrna) of Leesburg, sister-in-law Hazel Fletcher of Greenfield, IN, Nieces and Nephews, Lesa Roe, Rhonda Fitzwater, John Matthews, David Matthews, Sharon Corey, Larry Fletcher, Robert Swing, Janet Adams, Linda Turner, Lana Jones and Larry Hedrick.

Services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM till 2:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis. Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice,2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778.
