Donald Tyrone Vaughan

Donald Tyrone Vaughan, 74, of Lutz, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015. Born in Chicken Ridge, Virginia and raised in West Virginia, he moved to Montverde, FL in 1955 and after serving 8 years in the U.S. Air Force moved to Tampa, and then to Lutz in 1987. He was a middle school teacher in Hillsborough County for 33 years. Don is survived by his wife of 44 years, Harriet I. Vaughan, Lutz, FL; daughter, Cricket E. Vaughan, Lutz, FL; son, Benjamin I. Vaughan, São Paulo, Brazil; brother, Tony J. Vaughan, and wife, Carol of Bushnell, FL, brother Lester L. Vaughan, Lutz, FL; his many nieces and nephews; and his newfound, loving and supporting half-brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held at Montverde Cemetery, Montverde on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
