Don Monn

Don Monn, 86, of Eustis, FL passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Born in Eustis, FL he graduated from Eustis High School in 1948 and from Stetson University. Don was a member of Bay Street Baptist Church and a Veteran of the Korean War. Don was a Real Estate Broker, specializing in citrus groves. Early in his career, he owned and operated Golden Triangle Fruit Co. In the 1960’s he developed Country Club Manor. With his passion for agriculture, he became a cattle rancher. He was a member of the National and Florida Cattlemen’s Association. He is predeceased by his wife, Rose Marie Monn and brother, Bill Monn. He is Survived by wife, Sue Monn; daughters, Terry (John) Huffines, Kathy (Bob) Huffstetler, Darby (Matt) Hewett, and Joely (Terry) Nuzum; step children, Tyson (Christine) Oaks, Kevin (Lisa) Oaks, and Shannon (Rick) Warner; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at Bay Street Baptist Church, Eustis on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM; Family will receive friends at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
