Carol J. Cushman

Carol J. Cushman, 81, of Mt. Plymouth, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Born in Owosso, MI, she moved to Lake County, FL in 1976 from Flint, MI. She was Co-owner with her late husband, Jim Cushman, of the JC's Bar-B-Que and Meat Market of Eustis from 1976 till 2002. Carol was active with the Women of the Moose Lodge from 1980-2014, she was very involved with her family, children and grandchildren's activities. She loved to read classic stories and novels. Carol is predeceased by her Son, Terrence Cushman and Sister, Beverly Adams. She is survived by Son, Martin D. Cushman and his partner Bob Jones of Mount Plymouth, FL; Brother, Corky Adams of NE, Sisters, Cindy Phelps of Michigan and Judy Schultz of Michigan; Sister and Brother-In-Law, Betty and Leon Hamilton of Deland, FL; Granddaughter, Amanda Cushman and her wife Holly Johnson of Mount Plymouth and Granddaughter, Lauren Cushman of Mount Plymouth, FL; and Great-Grandson, Jackson Purdy. Memorial services will be held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, Eustis on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10:00 AM.
